Running From Obesity

Greetings from North Carolina!
My name is Amanda and I have been overweight or obese practically my entire life and up until this year it had been 17 years since my weight started with a 1...What a milestone! I never would have thought that my weight loss journey would also reconnect me with God, which has been the best part of my journey. And being able to wear a size 10 pair of jeans ain't too bad either!
I use to always search for the quick fix, but about 2 years ago I started to care about what I was putting into my body, and made an effort to cut out overly processed foods, gave up diet sodas and artificial sweeteners, AND I made exercise a habit.
People are always asking me what I eat and I tell them I eat what I want, just not as much as I use to eat!
I am now a personal trainer that caters exclusively to obese women and it is such a blessing to be able to share my struggles, and successes with women who are at a place in life where I once was. I LOVE this website and am telling all my clients about it-
2012 is going to be the year that I finally finish my own journey and also the year that help so many others begin theirs!
Remember to always focus on your progress and not perfection:)
Oh yeah and I am training for my first half marathon in April 2012
Add me as a friend if you want!!
God Bless You All and Good Health in the New Year

This is such a great testimonie. I love to see when people put the Lord first, as he is the one that controls everything in our life. I am sending a friend request your way. I would love to have you as a friend, supporter and motivator. I try to read and comment on others pages each day, but some days I am to busy to do so, but most days I am able to be there for support and motivation.0
