I just got one of these books... Eat This Not That: Supermarket Survival Guide.

Anyone know how accurate this information is?
I just skimmed it, very organic forward.... which is okay (not very avaialable where I live).

Just curious... It will be interesting to read.

The website is really fun. I wonder if there's really much more in the books?
  • Hi! I just bought that book, too! I am especially encouraged by the fact I can find decent ice cream in one of my favorite brands (wahoo!).

Unfortunately, the local supermarket carries very few, if any, of the brands they recommend. In a larger market, it'd probably be easier to use.

Also, they often compare fullfat options to each other, whereas I buy the lowfat options. (Like for mayo, for example). So that makes it difficult. . . am I swapping "up" in calories/fat/poor nutrion if I buy what they recommend?

Regardless, I'd probably give it a 4/5 stars if I lived somewhere with a bigger selection of grocery stores.
