So frustrated with progress this month!!

Lately for every 2 pounds I lose on the scale, it magically reappears 3-4 days later. This morning I flipped my lid because it happened again. I ran a report and in the last 30 days I have lost only 1 pound because of the yo yo cycle. I am set up to lose 2 a week, I know there have been some indulgences but not without excercise to combat. Any thoughts or suggestions would be helpful? Is this a version of plateau?

Same thing happens to me ... but in measurements, I see constant results.
water weight and Indulgences can really add up though. a few days ago, i weighed in after ten days and saw an EIGHT POUND gain. Seriously. what the hell? 8 of those days I had worked out hard cardio, burning ~700 cals/day. 7 of those ten days I stayed on my 1200 cal limit. 3 days I ate whatever i wanted (xmas).
with you, i don't know - you already lost so much. Maybe you should readjust your goals accounting for the weight loss?0 -
How is your water intake??0

Water intake is great and I had 2 bad sodium days so poured on extra. Just want to keep moving in the right direction and not back peddle.0

I can feel for you
Look at your diary and see if you need to tweak something0 -
I've had that happen. What seems to help is to push through, exercise a little more, and keep carbs in check. I find when I'm maxxing out on carbs(white carbs and sugar), the scale likes to frustrate me.
Just stay on-plan. It will pass.0 -
Thanks, I will soldier on!0

I totally understand. In the last 2months I have lost one pound!!! I was ready to quitI.. I examined my diary. I did go over my alloted 1000 calories, which was ordered by my doctors. I did lose on the 1000 calorie intake, but it is quite difficult esp. when I see all these people dropping weight. I need to remember I am not young anymore, but honestly 3 years ago I was ok. I got deathly ill, recuperated and blew up. I understand the frustration. You will lose it!!!0

It is open to friends only right now. And really, I think it is hormonal more than caloric because I have not been straying to far from my goal.0 -
You may also want to check out Olivia's method, you can search it and she has a group. More often than not people who struggle to lose aren't eating enough.0

thanks! i will search for that.0
