Why on earth is everyone so concerned with my body? I had twins guys, my teeny tiny belly was stretched out beyond belief. I went from never sitting still until I slept at night to constantly being at home with my daughters. My body has been through a lot this year. For some reason my weight gain seems to be all people care about, and somehow became their business. I was told during the holidays when seen eating one chocolate cookie that I couldn't eat that because I was too fat. I was also told I could not sit in the back seat because I wouldn't fit..btw I fit fine and with two other people and plenty of moving room. Oh and when I showed a dress I thought about wearing at Christmas dinner someone let me know pants would probably be the better choice for me. Do people not understand that we own a mirror? We are aware of our bodies, why is it their business? I am not obese I can walk fine and do not require "plus size" clothing or any kind of special treatment because I am significantly overweight. It's like weight gain means you're not allowed to be happy. Everyone is allowed to smile is my favorite motto. Losing weight should be for me and me only, not everyone else. I should be able to look the way I want to look, not how everyone wants me to look.

I don't know why people do all that stuff, maybe it's our inbuilt need to advise or something. But congratulations on your gorgeous babies they look so cute. I hope you can let all the un-needed comments wash over and stay strong and do what feels right for you. And I hope you and your family have a great new year.
There's a very good chance this site will help you realise your health and fitness goals, so go for it. I'm a bit older than you but have had babies and stuff, so friend me if you want.0 -
When people make judgements about others, they think poorly about themselves. Feel good about yourself, not worry what others say. You are as great as you think you are!0

I am so sorry that people are being critical and sticking their nose in places they shouldn't. And, it's always the people we are supposed to be the closest with that thinks they have the liberty of "helping" us get fit. I would just tell them this:
"I thank you very much for your concern over my weight and nutrition. If you didn't know, I am on a fitness and better eating plan. I use a website to daily track my calories and movement. According to several dieticians, the best way to lose weigth is to allow your body some higher fat foods and higher calorie days. This helps reduce the leptin that your fat cells excrete, which, in turn, slows your metabolism. While you may judge that one cookie is going to derail my diet plan, in fact, it is part of it. Now, I did notice that YOUR belly/thighs/arms are NOT as thin as they used to be. What are YOU doing to change YOUR situation?"0
