Silly question about heart rate monitors

So I really want to, (and I am going to) but myself an hrm. I have done my research and I think I have decided on the one that I want. My question is this....

Does it matter or not if I buy a "mens" hrm? I tend to like the looks, (and yes I know, looks are not everything lol) better for the mens hrms.

    Doesn't matter. If you prefer the men's look go for it. I think the Polar FT60 mens watch would look just fine on a woman.
