Ladies Weight Routine at Gym?

Hello All!
I am trying to include weights into my normal Cardio Work Out when at the Gym.
When at the Gym 2 nights a week I usually do 20 mins on the Arc Trainer or Elliptical followed by 10 mins on the bike..

Then 2-3 other nights at home I will do an Interval Workout or Jillian Michaels Work Out using 3lb hand weights. I plan to build up those weights as I go along.

So, I want to know what I should do weight machine wise while at the gym to go along with my 30 minutes of Cardio.
Any Ideas??

  • I usually focus on one area of my body each day I go to the gym. For example, Day 1 is arms. Day 2 is abs. Day 3 is legs. Repeat.

    I start with 30-40 minutes of cardio (I am IN LOVE with the Arc Trainer!). Then I go to the toning/strengthening weight machines.

    For arms: overhead press, chest press, row, and and arm curl machines
    For legs: leg press, seated leg curl, hip abduction, hip adduction
    For abs: seated ab crunch, torse rotation, back extension, and abdominal machine

    After I end it all with another 15 minutes of cardio to keep my heart rate up.
