Baggy Clothes

I am having an issue with still wearing my baggy clothes, it is like I am afraid to tell the world look I have lost weight. Maybe it is because I haven't accepted the fact I have lost half the weight I needed too... Had a co-worker tell me to I should start wearing clothes to show I have lost this weight. It isn't because I don't have the clothes because I do. I have clothes I wore back 20yrs ago still sad I know but I do..
Does anyone else feel like you are unsure of your weight loss? or not sure of it? It hard to explain, still not feeling it I guess or seeing it.

I think with new types of clothes, sometimes you just have to decide to wear it and go for it. This doesn't nec just apply to losing weight, but I know that if I get something thats a bit different to what I normally wear, I can leave it hanging because it almost feels too daring to wear - almost I'll get noticed wearing it.
I also think that rather than dig your clothes out, I suggest treating yourself to a brand new outfit and depending on the sales people, ask their advice about what to try on rather than going for your normal style. You don't have to necessarily buy but sometimes, having a different opinion is good.
I also think it takes time to readjust your brain to develop a new internal image of you and your body - there's an article in the new UK Red magazine where someone is talking about going into LK benett and asking for a 14...16. Saleswomen looks incredulous - she assumes its because she's larger - she had lost 8 stone and was a size 10 - but it took a stranger to make her realise iykwim.0 -
I think you should treat yourself to some new clothes. Some great sales out there right now. Truly you will see it and feel it when you get a few things in your new size. You will look great. You took the step to get in better shape so this is a next step. Go for it girl. You won't be sorry.0

I've lost 145 pounds in the past 21 months.
As soon as the clothes got to big, OUT THEY WENT!
Don't keep them around. You won't need them again.
I'll never go back to the old fat me.

It took me awhile to stop wearing my baggy clothes and start wearing clothes that fit me and showed off my weight loss. I think it was because I wasn't ready to let people see that I was loosing weight. I wasn't ready for all the attention & compliments and questions it would bring. I've always been kind of shy about attention. Plus I think I needed to wait until I felt that it was for real this time and not me yo-yoing again. You need to do what's comfortable for you.0
