New to myfitnesspal!

I just signed up for myfitnesspal pal a few days ago and I am looking for friends! I am in the middle of trainning for a half marathon (which is in Feb.) and looking for any food or excerise pointers.

    Eat plenty of protein!
    1g per lean body pound.
    .45g-.60g of fat per LBM.
    Carb it up for energy!
    You are running so you need premium fuel!
    Complex carbs like steel cut oats take a long time to digest and will give you sustained energy throughout your morning.

    For days when I need energy I like to mix:
    1/4 cup raspberries
    1/4 cup blueberries
    1/4 cup steel cut oats (ground in a coffee grinder to a powder)
    1/2 cup almond milk or 1/4 cup coconut milk.
    2 scoops whey protein=46g protein.
    This makes 2 cups.

    Drink half about 30 mins before you train then the other half within an hour after you train.

    If you are in good shape and maintaining weight this mixture is appx 600calories total.
    Balanced macros with high carbs and protein first thing in the AM.
