After being told about mfp by a company doctor at the start of October, I have finally found a way to lose weight that works. I am down a Jean size, down from XXL shirts (tight), to XL (fitting properly) and everyone is noticing the difference. I have lost 28 lbs since my first mfp weigh in

I have started running, and haven't felt this positive about myself in years!

for anyone thinking about trying this, do it!!

I'll post before and after pics once I get to 50 lbs lost (and I will!!!)

Looking forward to your pics! Great NSV on the clothes sizes and especially on everybody noticing! I've lost 35 so far and nobody says a THING to me. I guess I have to get down about double that much and then maybe!

MFP rocks and you do too!
  • excellent achievement and great attitude! Very well done!

GREAT JOB ultra! I started about a month ago, and I have lost 9lbs. You are right, MFP's is the site to go to for weight loss.

Well done!!! That's a great achievement and one I can relate to. Doesn't it feel great when all your old jeans are too big, you have marks on your belt from when you've moved down a notch and when you can tuck in your shirts rather than wear them loose

I've lost 44lbs since I started on MFP back at the beginning of August. Mind you, seems a lifetime ago now and find it hard to remember what it was like being so big & blobby. (So I keep the pics about to remind me never to do that to myself again!!!!)

Hitting the 50lb mark will certainly be an achievement worth celebrating; I should hopefully get there for St Valentine's Day... now that'll be a sweet pressie for the hubster
