I have already ate all but 86 of my daily calories. I splurged and ate a little extra and didn't calculate the calories until after I ate. Now I feel like a total idiot for even putting it in my mouth. :explode: I should have known better. I am gonna try to exercise to get back some of my calories - but there is no way I can exercise enough to get back all of them. :noway:

This will teach me once again to try to look ahead at my day and log before I eat!!!

    The day is young. You can compensate with some exercise... that will help a bit.

    Breathe... we all have days like this.
    Don't chalk the day up to a loss... cause then you may REALLY blow it.
    I have this book that talks about how we decide how our days will go (good or bad).... i'll dig it out for the official quote. The day isn't ruined....

    Do some exercise, drink some water, and keep an eye on what you eat for the rest of the day.
    If you go over a bit... you know where the issue was, but don't beat yourself up about it.

    That's the best advice I've heard in ages....all will be well. consider it a treat instead of a mess up, and just make better choices for the rest of the day.

    I had that day yesterday. I didnt let it get me down. I just know today is going to be an active day with working out and going ice skating and doing tons of walking. Dont let it get you down. keep up the hard work and youll do great!!!

    your last line is the best...you have learned to look ahead to the day.....that is a good thing...
    so today CAN be a good dat after all!
