I know there has got to be the correct ration of carbs, protein and fat. Anyone kow what it is? I need to lose fat. I think I am having a hard time because i am eating the wrong things.

Everyone is different depending on how you eat. If you try eat too different from the way you have always eaten, you will never stick with it.
Try to lower your fat or carbs or protein ( whatever you want) by 5% at a time and stick with it for a week or so. See if it works for the way you eat. If not lower something else. Eventually you will see what works for you. Just remember no matter what you do you need to eat whole fresh foods most of the time. You get to eat more, feel better and it will keep you full longer.0 -
Protein: 1g per pound of LEAN BODY MASS
Fat: 0.35-0.5g per pound of TOTAL BODY WEIGHT
Fill in the rest with carbs
You can customize the percentages in MFP to reflect these values under "goals"

^ I would start with this recommendation and adjust as needed.0
