I am one hundred and twenty pounds overweight. That is the weight of my youngest sister - I have my youngest sister to lose. But this is a year for change. This is a year I will do something about this problem. I will not go down the path of my relatives and get heart and kidney disease and struggle with diabetes and high blood pressure. I know this will include life changes, diet changes, lots of work on my part but I think I'm ready to make those changes this year. I'm starting a running program (20 weeks from 0 to 20 continuous minutes of running). I'm going to almost completely cut out breads. I can use all the support I can get! I'm hoping I can make this life-long journey, one day at a time.
