And here's why I'm ok with that. My son thought it was hilarious. My theory is that babies love belly fat, and they've evolved to love the belly fat on their mommies. He loves to find my belly button and giggles when he finds it. And since I've been parading around in workout clothes more often lately, he's cuddled my tummy and hugged my tummy. Last night he would only sleep with his head nestled on my pillow-like tummy. He does not care if I lose this last 20 lbs. I'm going to, but here's why I love myself for today - because he does.
