Yep the wife says I need to have more support. After realizing how excited she gets about the support she has on MFP I'm realizing she's right. I need to use the site to benefit me more and having the extra support will help me reach my goals. Please add me or let me know if we have something in common so we can encourage each other.
I'm 31 and I've been married to my high school sweet heart for 10 years. I've got 3 wonderful kids (11, 6, and 4). I live in South Dakota and work as a service rep on rocking equipment. I travel apx 40% of the time for my job in the U.S. and will be doing some international travel soon. It requires a lot of eating out and I'm still trying to adjust to this even though I've been in this job for almost a year.
I started running the past couple years and ran my first half & full marathon in January 2011 to celebrate being a 10 year cancer survivor (leukemia). It's something I love to do but being a "big" boy hasn't been easy on my knees. I hope some day to worry about a "good" finish time but right now I run to finish. Next weekend I'm running a half and full marathon at Walt Disney World.
I'm a HUGE sports fan and will watch just about any team. My favorite team is my Huskers. I use to play a lot of sports but due to too many things going on for the kids time is limited now.
I'm hoping to find some people with similar interests and to help keep me on track.

Welcome! I love to see a committed dad and husband. I am a mom of three, married for 19 years. I used to be an avid runner but have taken the last couple years off. Big mistake! I've got a half marathon on the calendar for March, my first in about 5 years. Lots of work to do before then. Feel free to add me as a friend, and good luck next weekend!0
