Okay i am going out to dinner at Chili's Bar and grill tonight. What can i eat to keep from blowing my hard work this week? I love the steak fajitas, but probably not the best to get.

    No problem!!

Ask for less salt if you dont want to retain fluid. IF not drink lots of water!!

Yeah, fahitas are loaded with grease. Some times you can ask for less grease, just like that. I have gotten a beautiful fahita platter that way ONE time! in a little mexican place. the girl spoke little english and wrote NO GREASE in caps on the check-even asked me how to spell grease:laugh:

It was good though and I gave her $5 to give to the cook!

    Anyway, have FUN!!:smokin:

carne asada is on the guiltless menu and rocks! I also had fajitas the other day, but had the waitress take the tortillas and cheese/sour cream away
  • Something I always do before going out to dinner is get on the restaurant's website and check out the menu. I don't know about Chili's but most offer the nutritional value so it makes it a lot easier to make healthier choices. Another good thing is that you aren't pouring over the menu when you get there and are less tempted to make a poor choice. Good luck!!

Thank you so much everyone. I went on line and looked at the guitless grilled chicken platter for dinner. I already logged it in my calories so no backing away from it now. I am not even going to look at the menu tonight.
