    I mostly lift weights and like harder music for it. Here's a sample of my latest playlist:

    Cowboys from Hell - Pantera
    Let the Bodies Hit the Floor - Drowning Pool
    Alone I Break - Korn
    Chop Suey - System of a Down
    Keep Away - Godsmack

    If anyone likes rock/metal these might be helpful :)

    Like someone said above, I don't listen to a lot of the music that I walk to. Dear hubby has made fun of me because of some of the songs I chose to walk to (Black Eyed Peas, Jennifer Lopez and Kesha), but they really get me going. Here are a few on my "PowerWalk" playlist (please don't laugh):

    Black Eyed Peas-Let's Get it Started; Boom Boom Pow!; I Got A Feeling; Pump It
    Jennifer Lopez-On the Floor
    Kesha-Blow
    Rihana-Only Girl in the World
    Paula Abdul-Oldies and her new one "Dance Like There's No Tomorrow"
    Foreigner-Cold As Ice; Hot Blooded
    One Republic-Apologize (upbeat version)
    Gloria Estefan & Miami Sound Machine-Conga;
    Lisa Lisa & Cult Jam: Can You Feel the Beat
    Pointer Sisters-I'm So Excited
    Blake Shelton-Footloose
    Michael Jackson & Jackson Five:Various
    Janet Jackson: Various
    CeeLo Green: Forget You
    Huey Lewis and the News: New Drug; Heart of Rock N Roll;
    Various Disco: Disco Inferno; Shake Your Groove Thing; Disco Medley by Selena; I Will Survive (Donna Summer) I sing this song to the food and my unwanted fat and pounds that I lost; Let's Dance; Hot Stuff; etc.
    Mandisa-Dance,Dance,Dance; Good Morning (w/Toby Mac)
    Newsboys-Glorious (Tait); Way Beyond Myself;
    Luke Bryan-Country Girl (Shake it for Me)
    Third Day-Sky Falls Down, Alien, Long Time Comin' and various
    John Cougar Mellencamp-Hurt So Good
    Bee Jees-Jive Talkin; You Should Be Dancin'
    Earth, Wind & Fire-Boogie Wonderland; Shining Star

    Just to name a few. I'm always looking for suggestions, so I'll be checking these ideas out. Don't be afraid to list as many as you like, it may give somebody else an idea. As you can see I'm very serious about my workout tunes. The beat always changes which I think encourages interval walking which is really good cardio, as I understand it. I love them though, helps me to get out there on the walking path and slam it.

    I hope I gave some good suggestions.

    This website might help you out. http://www.bpmdatabase.com/

    I personally like to keep it near 144 bmp so what you can do is find a bmp that you like and then type it in the search and find songs that are at that tempo.

    If you are like me, there's nothing more annoying when your ipod goes to a random song that is slow when you just wanna keep going.

    I hope this was helpful!

    Awesome, thank you!!
