For my girls and myself!

I am new to MFP and I'm doing this for my girls (3 yrs and 4 months) and for myself. I have always been overweight. When I was younger I was very active, but since I hit my twenties I have gotten really lazy. I am 222 lbs. and I hate it! My mom is getting married in March and I want to fit into my bridesmaid dress but more importantly, I want to look better and feel good. I need help though. I am horrible at getting myself motivated. I live on a military base and they are doing a "Dump Your Plump" contest from Jan. 9- Mar. 2 and I am wanting to really loose the weight. They do have a great gym, so I am going to work out while my husband is home with our little girls. I haven't lost any weight since I had my 4 months old and I feel horrible...please HELP!!!
