I was conservative on my estimates for exercise today, (waiting tables on a doubleshift)

and it says I burned 1165 cals - could this be right??

We were slammed today, so I 'walked briskly' for about 2 hours, and walked at a slow pace for another 4. These are conservative guesses.

Anyone else wait tables (maybe with a HRM?)

Just my opinion, but if I were you I wouldn't log this as exercise. I would change my activity level in my settings to better reflect it. I don't know about anybody else, but I find the calories burned to be a little off on some of the exercises here.

Just an idea for you though, I used to work at a movie store and I put a pedometer on one day just to see how much I walk during the average day... an 8 hour shift was 8 miles! Surprised me.

well, I have my lifestyle set on sedentary still (from the office job I had last week.. lol), I like to see what my activity levels are day-to-day. Appreciate the input, though!

It can be right! When i was waitressing I would wear a step moniter that kept track on my steps and calories... i would easily walk off 800 calories on one shift!

I agree that this should be logged as "Activity Level" rather than as "exercise." It even uses waiting tables as an example in the activity level section.

I wouldnt log this under excercise either.....I would adjust your daily activity section to say lightly active or active....:drinker: But the calories burned sounds about right
