New to the site and loving it.

Hi everybody. I am 42 and male, stand at 6'3 and around 315lbs. I am new to the site (a couple of weeks now) and am loving all the encouraging messages I see to everyone. This is a great site.
My goal is to lose 115lbs through eating and strength training with a little cardio.
I had originally lost 65 lbs about 2 years ago then got a sinus problem which eventually ended in surgery. In the last 2 years I have not only gave up and put on the 65 lbs back on I actually added about 5 more.
I am not a doctor or anything close but I have done a lot of research on weight training and eating that I think I am very knowledgeable and my brother used to be a body builder so I do go to him for advice as well.
If you are looking for someone who logs in more than a couple times a day or looking for encouragement then go ahead and add me as a friend. Like I say the more friends helping out the better chance of following through with this.

Good luck! I believe weight lifting and building muscle and eating well are very important too. I just started weight lifting myself, ouch!0
