I have made a decision. This is going to be the year of me!!. Now its really never about me, only those that I love. However I have decided this year will be diffrent. I will do whatever I feel the need to do in order to keep my motivation going . Who's with me????. Will it be the year of you???. What do you need to do to stay motivated??

Well Yes I am with you. I have decided that this year will be the year of new beginnings and lots of changes in my life. You already know that I am moving Saturday out of my parents house, to start a life 2 hours away in Gloucestershire.
This year also with this change it gives me the escape I need to sort out my weight, learn to cook and hopefully beat the washing machine :P.
With people like you helping me along I believe this year will be my year, when great things will happen.0 -
I am so with you here!
I do anything I can to keep the people around me happy, and as good as it feels, I don't really help myself that much along the way. I need to just learn to resist temptation, particularly around the holidays, as that's my only fault at the moment. Hopefully, 2012 should be my year!

I'm in!
I'm 42. I've been married since I was 23 (still am) and a mom since 27. I've always put my family first. I also showed my love through food all too often and now hubby and I are both about 100 lbs overweight. I've avoided joining a gym or buying exercise equipment because I wanted to spend the money on my family or put it into savings even though money has never been an issue. I can't think of the last new article of clothing I've bought for myself as I typically shop at Goodwill. Excepting shoes (which I haven't bought a new pair in 3 years and desperately need to just buy some already), socks, undies, and bras I think the last new outfit I bought for myself was maternity clothes. That would be 15 years ago.
I've already decided this is the year of me. I'm going to lose weight. I'm going to buy an elliptical once we find one hubby likes too (so far he's being really picky and says they make him dizzy even though we aren't looking at cheap ones. I'll buy one whether he likes it or not within the next few weeks. He'll either get used to it or it will just be for me and the kids.) I'm also going to treat myself to a few brand new outfits once I reach my goal weight. I'll need a whole new wardrobe and I don't mind buying much of it at Goodwill but for once I'm going to splurge a bit on me too.0
