Measurements?

Not sure where to post this, but I was wondering... where do you take your waist measurement? I am XX inches at the smallest part of my waist, and then if I measure around my belly button area I am 2" bigger? So which one do I go with? The smaller part of my waist above my belly button, or exactly at my belly button where it is 2" bigger?
Thanks.
Thanks.

I do two. My waist is the narrowest part across my belly button. My abdomen is a couple inches lower where the infamous 'pooj' lies.0

The waist is the narrowest part...in my case that almost at the ribs:laugh:
Or just above the belly button as you said.0 -
The easiest way to tell where your waist is, is to bend to the side slightly... you will have a crease form on your side... THAT is your waist all the way around... check in the mirror to make sure your measuring tape is straight across your back and stomach. This is where a dressmaker would measure you for alterations and such. My waist actually includes my bottom rib... bizzar I know, but an inch lower and I'm running into hip bone! :ohwell:
Hope this helps!0
