Hi there. I am realy struggling with lunch ideas for when I am at work.
I work in an office and I do have a fridge, kettle and microwave, but work on an industrial estate (just moved to that location) so have to start taking my own lunch to work.
I am trying to avoid eating bread - gives me IBS and also can be high in cals.
I am looking for lunch ideas - does anybody have any suggestions?
Have a great 2010

i use those steamfresh veggie things all the time. i also bring tofurky, or boca burgers with me, without any bread, along with some veg. i roast sweet potatos. or bring brown rice and black beans mixed with a little feta cheese.0 -
I LOVE Campells V8 soups. They're about 100-150 calories a cup, a full serving of veggies and fairly low in sodium for a prepared soup (about 400mg). Nice for a cold day, plus soup fills you up.0

Roasted chicken breast (marinated in lemon and some salt) with veggies on the side. You can roast some chicken the night before, keep them in the fridge, then on days when you want to have that for lunch - microwave it at work.0

I make a big pot of soup and then portion it out for the week. I usually load my soups with veggies and chicken or use lentils. My soups are usually under 200 calories. I also bring brown rice, chicken and broccoli. It is easy to throw together and add some terryaki sauce for flavor.0
