Congrats! Care to share how you got to that place? I'm still struggling with doing about 2.6 miles on the treadmill and not being able to push any further. Do you have any tips?

I'm not sure how Amelia did it, but there's this website that gives a good outline on how to achieve just that. It is called the Couch to 5K plan:

    Good luck to you!

Great Website Sara(BTW-LOVE your new avatar...so cute)

Rungirl28... If you can run 2.6 miles then you can definitely run 3 miles....when you get to that 2.6mile mark think "ive only got 4.00 to go,thats not very long...." in my mind, that helps me stay focused and keeps me going. And some kick *kitten* music helps too:smokin: .I love it really loud

I have my good days and my bad days...sometimes i will only run 1.5miles and call it a day. I just listen to my body...Good Luck to you, You will get there!

YAY!! So hard to do! My most I've ever run is 4.5 miles. It just takes a lot of time and pushing through the sticky points.

Loud House music keeps me going when I don't wanna go anymore.
