Thinking a new way about food

Today I am thinking at food in a new way. Food is not a puniushment and it is definately not a reward. Food is fuel for the machine I was given that needs to carry me for hopefully 50 more years.

That being said, I will now be fueling my body with those things that will make me feel good for the long term, not those things I think mentally will make me feel good for a brief moment.

I have kept up an excercise program for 2.5 years..now it is time to give my body what it needs and craves to continue that program and expand it. Water, fruits, vegetables, whole grains, lean proteins...oh and coffee because some things can't change that quickly.

So for breakfast I had oatmeal with a few crushed whole natural almonds and coffee.
