Have you tried dietry suppiments before?

I have tried quiet a few various dietry suppliments from shakes to soups to detox liquid diets etc but i have recently been trying BSC- Conjugated Linoleic Acid (CLA) capsules taken three times a day with food. Apparantly they are supposed to decrease body fat via using existing fat for energy whilst promoting an increase in lean muscle tissue which is the primary site of fat burning. According to BSC, CLA is a naturally occurring free fatty acid sourced from natural plant oil (Safflower Seed Oil).

I have only just started to take them and it got me thinking whether anone on MFP has tried them before? I was just wondering if they worked had side effects and/or your success or failure stories with other dietry suppliments.. or medically prescribed drugs.
