Has anyone ever taken them? What are your thoughts? I am not a pill taker at all but have debated taking something to help kick start things again.

    Don't do it!!!!!!!!!!!!

To get yourself back on track, just start eating better and moving more. That will burn your fat!

Shame on Jillian Michaels for even marketing a product like that!

Those pills are so bad for you!!! They can really mess you up, and you won't keep that weight off anyway!!!
  • Junk... fat burners do little but jack you up w/ mostly caffeine, which suppresses appetite and gives you energy.

Save your money, invest in healthy foods and drink coffee if you need a little kick.

LOTS of water and the right diet with food that burns body fat as well as cardio is the way to go. its the right way to do things and is the only advice i would give to folks. we are in trouble with our weight and body fat because we don't do things right. try doing it right and watch the wonderful results from it!

Pills are death. You take them & they screw you up, that's why you lose weight... they take off the muscle.

If you want to take pills for some reason, try a cleanse. It's only about 7days of pills, & will detoxify your system. It's best to start the cleanse 2 days before you stop working for a weekend, because come about day 3 you don't want to be too far from a bathroom & will be feeling VERY tired. Drink TONS of water while you're doing it too. It helps a LOT. You can lose a couple of pounds of sludge from your intestinal tract (sorry, that's a bit graphic, but I really couldn't come up with another way to describe it). That makes you feel better, and you digest your food better afterward.

Don't do cleanses any more often than once every three to four months, because it can mess with your necessary intestinal flora.

Agree with everyone here. Drink plain coffee or plain tea. Green Tea, Oolong Tea... I drink about 3 cups per day. It's helped me tons.

I've taken many different fat burners, & thermos etc. It just makes you sweat a lot. I've never seen a difference in my body fat % & I've also had bad side affects from taking them. They do a good job making me nauseous - great appetite suppressor, right? lol

There was a product that GNC marketed called AntiTox-7 - it worked great, and you didn't have to starve yourself (although I've done many kinds of fasts). You can do something like that & eat only raw foods for a few days.

I only recommend doing a fast if you suspect you have a food allergy. Right now for the most part I'm following a gluten free vegan diet, with the exception of eggs from the chickens I raise in my own backyard. I've never felt better! & I've lost so much weight in the process :)

Do it the right way and don't believe the hype those pills put out there. They are there to make $$$. Also, don't try those detox diets. Your body detoxes itself and will balance itself out on a healthy diet in most cases. Just exercise and eat food that is good for you and eat less junk.
