I've never been a member of any other chat board except my "What To Expect - Expecting in January 2009" website. I met some lifelong friends on there as we were going through our pregnancy together. I just had my 2nd son, Caden Reed on December 13, 2008 (4 weeks early, preeclampsia - water just broke). I know it happened because I was so unhealthy with my weight and what I ate the entire time. I totally let myself go. I started heavier this time and gained 75 lbs. I never have been the "fat girl" and now I am and I HATE it. I came back to work on January 26th from my 6 weeks maternity leave. I have been using our gym EVERYDAY after work (M-F). I am now doing 20 minutes on the treadmill, going 3.5, and on a incline of 9 for 5 minutes, 0 for 5 minutes, back to 9 for 5 minutes, and down again the last 5 minutes. I then go to the elliptical and do that for 10 minutes. After that (my cardio) I do some random weights working abs and legs. I've not had any professional direction just help of others in the gym. I've lost about 16 pounds since I've been doing this (Jan 26th this year) so I'd say it's working. I've also been cutting out foods (almost too much). Somedays I barely eat, but it's not on purpose. I actually have to stop and make myself eat. It's when I get up at night to feed the baby that the bad cravings kick in "to just grab that 1 cookie"...". So that's me and where I am in a nutshell. Oh, my name is Ashley, I'm 28 years old, born and raised in North Dallas area, and mother of a (almost 3 in May) and a newborn. I want to get back to my old self so I can feel better, look better and inturn will make me act better :-). Visit my profile to read and see pictures. I welcome any advice!
