Eating Back Nursing calories?

Hey all, I am exclusively breastfeeding my 2 wk old. Does the same concept for eating back exercise calories fly for nursing as well? It seems like a lot since breastfeeding burns about 500 cal per day. Just wondering... thanks!

Yes it does. You are burning a lot by feeding your newborn so be sure to eat them back and keep yourself hydrated. Congrats on your newborn!0

You can add "breastfeeding" as a food to give yourself negative calories. And yes, eat them back! You need them to produce enough quality milk. Congratulations on the new addition.0
