Finally after allowing myself to gain an unhealthy amount of weight in a small period of time I'm ready to change.
i'm worried about the whole eating healthy part as that is where I am lost.
hopefully someone can help me ? :)

Hello and welcome to MFP. You will love this site if you don't already. I love this site, it is so motivational, supportive, helpful, and everyone is so nice, and friendly. I just wanted to tell you good luck on your weight loss journey. You can do this. :flowerforyou:  :flowerforyou: :smile My advice is to log all food before you eat it, that is what I do. Make sure you drink your water, and watch the amount of sodium you eat b/c if you eat too much sodium you will retain water, and not lose weight. Measure your food portions, like say I want some green beans and they are 1/2 cup serving, then 1/2 cup is what I eat.

    Welcome! :flowerforyou:

Deffinitly measure your portions! No matter what food it is, just eat the portion of food that the package says to. Good luck to you and I hope that you like it here!
