I've been working out 4 days a week for about 60 min cardio and 30-45 min strength training. I have been drinking my water and eating my excercise calories as well. What am I doing wrong! I haven't lost a single lb!

Help me please.

    1. Perhaps try not eating all of your exercise calories?
    2. What kind of cardio?
    3. Have you lost any inches?

I agree...what kind of cardio? What is your heart rate at? Can you show us some sample menus? Are you eating all your calories?

What are your menus looking like?

It could be that your body is trading fat for muscle..............

    Ask yourself.................

    1. Do you feel better?
    2. Do you have more energy?
    3. Do you sleep better?
    4. Have you lost inches?

If you can say yes to those questions, then guess what? IT IS WORKING!!!!

Sometimes you have to throw out the scale and go by other factors...................

So its only been 2 weeks? Give it time! Remember the weight didn't come on in 2 weeks so it won't come off in that time either-
I could understand if you have been at it for months going hard working out eating right and no loss but like you said 2 weeks- just relax and continue to workout the pounds will start to come off- Also remember to measure yourself
  • I am in the same boat. I have started a fitness training class for 60 minutes a day - working out other times of the day and after 6 weeks I have only lost 2 1/2 pounds BUT I have lost 3 inches, my clothes fit better, all my levels are better and I feel great. I found out this week that I was not eating enough (sounds strange but true). I am trying to eat more and will let you know what this weeks results are on Thursday. Good luck to you!!

You are right. It has only been two weeks I need to give it some time. I've been trying to diet for a while, but it wasn't a life change. I would snack on naughty foods, more often than I should and wasn't excercising. I feel that I am losing some inches, haven't measured in a while, I need to do that. I guess we will see were I'm at on Wednesday that is my weight day. Thank you for all your imput!

I do feel better, feel stronger.
