I was wondering if I could count green tea as part of my water consumption every day? I switched to Green Tea from my usual milky coffee and much prefer it to drinking water!

I believe if you don't add sugar and milk to it, then it should count.0

I am enjoying a cup of green tea now. I love it and it makes me feel healthier x0
-
yes it does count but I always try and add it as an additional drink and still try for the 8 glasses of water a day0

I'm not sure, but Green tea has caffeine in it and that is a diuretic right?! so I mean it would not hydrate you? water is water. once you run water through something, it is no longer water. but I could be way off on that too0

The average person needs 8 cups of fluid a day, from any sources. Tea/Coffee/Soda/Juice/milk/fruit/veg etc.
8 cups of pure water is a myth made up and perpetuated by the bottled water giants.

And before someone pipes up, as they always do, about coffee not counting because it a diuretic...
