How to get a better handle on cravings by eating

Hey there, I just wanted to share a bit of information with you people that may help you lower cravings and minimize indulging if you're dieting very strict and very clean. Many people have asked me how I have managed to not eat junk food all day when my house is filled with it and I would like to address this.
There are many ways cravings kick in, however, during a very clean, very strict dieting phase, one of the common reasons behind a craving is blood-sugar level crash. This is where your body will want to consume something, usually sweet, to help boost the sugar levels again.
The problem with this is that, while your blood-sugar levels are high from consuming that product, it will soon crash again and, thus, creating a vicious cycle of cravings.
A great way to ward off cravings is to eat very regularly (every 2-3 hours) during this dieting phase. It will help stabilize blood-sugar levels in the body and reduce the risk of cravings. If you don't eat regularly, your body's blood-sugar levels will crash and thus, will want to eat something sweet to boost the sugar levels again.
Just be aware that this is happening when you have a sudden urge to eat something that you really shouldn't be. If need be, have a protein shake mixed with half a cup to a cup of oats (distasteful to some), as this is a sufficient meal-replacement and will help stabilize the blood-sugar levels.
Hopefully this answers some of the questions I've been receiving about cravings.
Thanks
Chad
