Good morning,
I'm new to the forum as well as the Myfitness Pal program. I just started yesterday and I love the program and ease of tracking everything. Best of all its free!!! I'm looking to add a few fitness and nutrition friends for motivatiin and support. Good luck to all on this fitness journey....
Oh, my goal is to drop 40lbs. Short term goal is 10lbs by 31 January.

Good luck to you! I made my lifestyle change on january 1 2011 - started with weight watchers, but came across MFP around June and I LOVE it!! I lost 96 pounds last year, and I would like to lose another 40-50 pounds.0

Morning!!! Im new as well - I started this life style change journey two yrs ago and lost 50 pounds...and recently have come up against some new and challenging health issues - and was on the verge of giving up - but a very dear friend told me about this site and I have decided not to give up!!! I would like to lose 30 pounds...You know to do it right and to keep it off it should be about a pound a week!!

I have started and stopped lifestyle changes with some success up to this point. In the past (not claiming it now) I would give up when I had a challenging food day then I would procrastinate getting back on the health train. I reminded myself a few months ago that there is no "starting tomorrow" (my old saying), I started when I was first challenged with my weight decades ago. I am looking forward to a healthy 2012 with good and long term fat loss. My goal is to be at my desired weight and BMI by June 1st. Best wishes to all!0
