A rant on juice

Why is it so hard to get REAL juice? Go into the store and try to find, say, cranberry juice. You can't do it - everything is cut with either apple juice, or grape juice. The same goes for blueberry juice, and more. It seems like unless you're interested in oranges, apples, or grapes, you have no real choice in the market. I literally spent an hour walking up and down the juice aisle, looking at every.single.bottle of juice, and they are all cut with some other type of juice. I know it would be more expensive, but I can't believe there isn't a market for real juices, and not just the cocktails that line the store shelves.

I would very much love to, though sadly our local store tends to be a bit... behind when it comes to expiration dates  I'll check outside my town, maybe I'll have better luck.0 -
Look in the organic/health foods section of the grocery store. Not the regular juice isle. Be prepared to spend a decent chunk of change. Or try whole foods, trader joes, or something similar. Or invest in a juicer. It will probably save you money in the long run if you drink juice often.0

Get a juicer and juice your own fruits and veggies. Better yet, just eat the fruits and veggies whole and drink lots of water. You don't need the juice.0

I understand. I live in a town with only one health food store, though it is a good one. Online shopping is great for stuff that can't be found locally.0 -
Sadly my actual purpose for the juice wasn't for drinking, it was for making jelly for presents My SO and I usually make wine jelly, but a friend of ours and his family won't touch anything containing wine/alcohol even if its been cooked, so I was trying to find an alternative. I already had all of the ingredients to make jelly, so it would have been hard to convert over to jam for a single batch.
If this was for consumption, I'd absolutely agree that eating fruit is a better way to go.0
