Has anyone ever seen Requiem for a Dream? Where the mother is put on uppers and downers to help her lose weight, and then she goes absolutely batty after abusing them because she builds up a tolerance?
I think it's important to do this on your own first. I am confident that you have enough self control and motivation to learn about healthy, permanent fat loss and to follow through by using that knowledge. There is no reason to use medication.0 -
I was on diet pills from a weight loss doctor for five years, yes, I lost weight but needed a xanax to offset the shakes and a sleeping pill to sleep. Eventually they stopped working and I decided I'd rather not be a good looking corpse...........with that said, I stopped and gained my weight and then some back. It is still tempting to me, but I am attempting the correct way as sonbyrdsweet indicated in her post. I can't advise you what to do, but it was short term (although five years, more hurtful once I see those pics now..........) and I'm doing it the way I should've started from the beginning. good luck in your loss.0

I did. I went from 199 to 172 really quick... I stoped taking it and was doing good for a few months, then gained a little more than half. I'm at 188 now... Yea it's tempting and I still have a bottle left and keep wanting to take them, but they had to do a heart test after the 3rd month and everything came out fine... But I stoped taking them when I realized they couldn't be safe if they had to do heart tests after the 3rd bottle. And yea I did go to a doctor too.0

I took them after I had my baby, I lost about 35 pounds all together, I would take them until they didnt work as good, (like a week or so) then skip a couple days, then start back, on the days off, I wouldnt eat as much because i hadnt eaten much on the days that I had taken them, and my stomach couldnt hold very much. I dont think this is for people who need to lose more than that though, because they do stop working pretty fast, especially if you take them every day. I have heard some people say the side effects were to bad, but they didnt bother me, they gave me lots of energy and not hungry! O I took them for 3 months....(but not every day)0

I haven't actually tried that tyoe of pill, but I have tried a lot of others, and I have found that recently, they actually mak eme more tired and I crash REALLY hard after they have worn off. Plus, they don't work for appetite suppressant, at least for me they don't work.
Trust me, I have tried everything, and the best solution for me was being healthy by eating right and working out-nothing else. So good luck-but try and take the right road, not the easy one...:bigsmile:0
