I have been up and down the weight loss rollercoaster for the past 3 years and I am tired of it!!
I was at my heaviest at 297 lbs about 6 1/2 years ago. Finally made a life changing decision and got on Weight Watchers, I lost got down to 136, a whopping 161 lb loss. Then I got married 3 years ago and got up to 182. I have managed to squeeze down to 177, and that is my current weight now. I don't know what the deal is this time around...
I just don't have it in me. I don't have that mind set. The dedication. The lifestyle change. Don't get me wrong, I still eat pretty healthy. I stay within calories most of the time. The problem seems to be weekends for me. I tend to go over, but not drastically. I need to get into that mindset. That mindset that nothing, not even weekends are going to distract me. I was doing well a few months ago, working out 3-5 times a week, but even then, I wasn't really seeing much of a loss and it discouraged me. I have to get back in the mood of working out and staying dedicated. I am only 26 and the time to get in shape and be healthy is now! What has got me down most of all is the amount of sagging skin that is on my body. It is soooo bad. I feel disgusting. And I know that no matter how much weight I lose, I am not going to look the way I want, which is not a valid excuse, but its always on my mind.
One day I am looking to get a complete body lift, hoping to afford it one day.
Unmotivated, disgusted and dissapointed in myself. For those that are feeling a little unmotivated, just wanted to let you know, I feel the same. BUT, a new year is here, and looking to pull myself back up. Its time for a chance. I AM going to get off of my toshee and I AM going to go to the gym tomorrow. I have to.
Sorry, now I am rambling.... just needed to vent. Thanks for listening
