Is there a way to lift more weights , more reps etc, to get similar results or is cycling, swimming etc the only way to go for weight loss?
I can suffer swimming and I walk from work every day about 50 minutes but the thought of treadmill or bicycle in he gym makes me want to quit right away
Any suggestions?

You can jump rope, do floor aerobics, box .... many things ! Bike. Walk or run.0

If you do any weight-lifting and eat around maitenece, the calories burned will result in weight loss.
As a bonus, the heavy lifting will help preserve the muscle you have, helping maximize fat-loss and minimize muscle loss as you lose mass.
That, and you'll look macho in front of the ladies.0 -

You don't have to do cardio unless you want to eat more. Eat at a 10-20% deficit and you should lose. Lifting will help preserve your muscle and improve the looks of things under the fat.0
