Alkaline water and weight loss?

Hi everyone!
I'm drinking during my diet alkaline water. This is my first time, to combine the two things. Anybody else???
I'm just asking for it, because I don't know, that is will work, or not...
At least I drink my water necessity, because I ofter forgot to drink the right volume
