Man O man...I new I failed over the weekend, but I told myself, I am sticking to this, A New Year is approaching. Sunday was Great, Loved my cabbage and of course I didn't know that cabbage was soooo low in calorie. As for Monday I did good. Tuesday!!!FAILURE!!!!!!
I haven't weighed in yet, I go in on the 10th for that. But already I went over my intake (Tuesday), and that was with earning extra calories by doing small exercise...I am Mad at Me!
I will do this! Sorry...I just had to vent!
One good thing....I got to shop at Kohls this year instead of Lane Bryant.
Thanks for listening!

We get the need to vent, but dont be down on yourself. Remember this is not a diet, ther will be days you eat 'bad' foods, dont exercise enough etc... just put it in perspective and remember that a small indiscretion does not ruin a lifetime of healthy hadits! The trick (I find), is not to dwell on it, for me that turns s bad meal into a bad day, into a bad week etc.
Enjoy the day for what it was, dont feel guilty and live for the present and for the future!0 -
Not a failure..yet!!! Don't be too hard on yourself we all have days like that! In fact I allow myself 1 bad day a week... I don't always use it but it takes the pressure off and allows me to stay focused on the overall picture!t Congrats on starting the journey!0

Venting is good, but be careful of lableing yourself. In place of "If I lapse, I'm a failure" Try "If I lapse, I can return to the plan. Lapsing is something I can learn from". Each day is a new opportunity to develop the skills to manage your weight. Part of the journey is learning to get up again when we fall. You're not alone.:flowerforyou:0
