Motivation? Can't seem to find or keep it.

I'm having some serious trouble trying to find motivation to get back on track again. I've been on a downward spiral since October and haven't been able to get my stuff together.
Does anyone have any ideas of how to find that motivation? and keep it when you have it??
I have tons of reasons for motivation, they just don't seem to work...?
I also have tons of excuses which I know are the reason I'm in this predicament. Just need a little kick in the rear.

Is there someone you can ask to keep you accountable? Someone that you see/talk with frequently? I find that actually having to tell someone, "No, i didn't exercise today and I overate my calories as well" makes me want to do what I need to do.0

First I would start by tracking your food so you see what types of things you are eating and the content in them. Then get some great IRL friends or on here that can keep you accountable and question some of your choices when you have an off day. It really is up to you to really want this for yourself, but we can be here to support and encourge you. For me, I am doing this to get healthy and be able to run around with my two young children and to be a hot mama and wife.0

Motivation comes from within. No one can give it to you or we'd have a whole new facet to the diet industry!
Honestly, I think the best thing you can do is to sit down and make a list of why you want to lose weight/get healthy. Then make another list of all of the excuses; the reasons you'd rather be overeating/eating junk and sitting on the sofa. Putting these things on paper should help to both clarify your motivation and probably help you to see how lame some of your excuses really are. (I know mine were!)
Then post the motivational list somewhere you can see it every day, like your bathroom mirror or fridge.0
