Well obviously a diet low in carbs but how many grams are we talking a day?

Most of my meals contain starchy slow release carbs but I'm thinking I may see better results if I cut these down and maybe limit them to the morning, so how many should I be eating for a low carb diet? Who has this worked for and how do you do it?

Thanks in advance

I try to eat lower carb, higher protein. It is best to have most of your carbs before say 2-3pm so you have time to burn them off -- so have fruit and bread if you eat that for breakfast or lunch..... I do eat carbs in the evening - but only in the form of vegetables, which seems to work for me. I'm always UNDER my carb 'goal' per mfp but I do eat carbs..... Eating TOO low carb is hard to maintain and is not necessarily good for you.
    i.e.
monday ate 155g carbs - goal was 293
sunday ate 136g carbs - goal was 365
Saturday ate 187g carbs - goal was 340

If I'm going to eat pasta, I try not to eat it for dinner (unless I'm doing tofu noodles).... if I want something sweet at night, I will have some form of protein (and I use a low carb protein) -- mixed with greek yogurt or just water and freeze it -- YUM! (of course maybe my tastebuds are weird since I'm a year into my healthy lifestyle)
