Today I figured I would clean out closets and drawers of clothes that are now "too big" or so I thought. Either one of 2 things happened. (A).. I must've been really uncomfortable wearing these clothes, I distinctly remember a huge muffin top....or..(B) I really havent lost that many inches because the clothes I figured were "too big" really arent that big after all. Yeah, I'm feeling a little down right now. I know I've lost weight, this is a fact. But it kinda sucks when you think you need a smaller wardrobe but you dont bcuz your fat clothes still fits.....:(

If you were stretching those clothes out to the max when you were larger they weren't your size to start with. This is a good thing, it save you money right now. :) I still wear some of the same pants that i wore 22 lbs ago, i just have a saggy butt. lol

having the same clothes fit you better IS an NSV. When I started my journey, I was pushing the limits in my clothes....so the first losses just meant those clothes fit me better. Along the way on my journey, there have been times where, for example, I'd think "why don't size L shirts fit me yet...I shouldn't still be wearing size XL t-shirts". I just kept at it and those things work themselves out. Keep in mind that this is a lifelong journey...and if you remember that, then know that you will eventually achieve all of your goals. If, however, you look at this part of your life as something short term, then that's all it will be. Stay persistent, stay fierce, and you will WIN :)

I lost almost 30lbs and I'm wearing many of the same clothes, especially my jeans. I didn't get rid of a single pair. Trust me, they look WAY different.

I know how exciting it is to give away those old clothes and buy new ones, but don't be too down on yourself if some of the old clothes still 'fit'. They probably fit really differently!

I agree with everyone. Most of my clothing is too big fo me, but I am refusing to spend money on clothing that will be too large in a couple of months. Try altering to save some money. YOU CAN DO THIS!
