Activity level

I work a sedentary job, but I walk on my breaks every day. That totals one hour 5 times a week. I try to take the dog for long walks on the weekends, and if it is not cold I will walk her for shorter walks in the evenings. Sometimes I will spend a long time walking around the stores (window-shopping has become my new favorite exercise). I might play some Wii with the kids, and I do some light cleaning every day before bed or first thing in the morning. I have my activity level set at sedentary, but lately my weight loss doesn't seem to be happening. A big part of it may have been my liberties at Christmas, but it just seems like my weight loss has stalled out. I haven't really plateau'd, but I can't seem to get past a certain weight. I get close then fluctuate back up. Should I reconsider my activity level?

  • Possibly - sometimes your body gets used to what you are doing and you need to mix it up a bit. Maybe do some bike or swimming and some a little more intense cardio.
