Hello ladies (and gents?)
My friend is unexpectantly expecting her second child and she is STRESSED. I thought a nice at home spa day would be a cheap and cheerful way for her to relax.
On the agenda I have:
3 different types of smoothies
detox and decaf green tea
A big and colorful salad
lemon water
gentle stretching/yoga
steam facials
face masks (maybe homemade)
mani/pedi
cuke slices for eyes
Am I missing anything? I feel like it should feel more decadent!
Any suggestions?

I dont' know what you have in mind with the detox tea, but she may not be able to have it depending on what is in it. It is easy to check online or by calling any doctor to check though. Is she having any cravings with her pregnancy? If she is, incorporating some of that into the day could be fun for her too. Candles too! If she is having problems with smells though, you may want to get unscented. You are such a great friend!0

I didn't think of that! I'll have a variety of teas available. The cravings is a good idea! She's been craving SPICY, maybe I'll put out some chips and salsa.0 -

Sweets and chocolate are turning her off big time (worst. pregnancy. ever.)
Thanks, she's a very good friend to me as well. She's just very mentally unprepared for this pregnancy and can't get out of her funk. It's a blessing of course but it's hard to enjoy when it was never on the game plan.0 -
oooh, I could use a day like that...but mine would need some alcohol involved (not for the pregnant friend, of course!!)
Have a great time - that's really a nice thing to do! :drinker:0 -
