Hi,
I just had Bunion Surgery this past Fri. I need some ideas on some excersises I can do while being off of my foot for the next few weeks. I am eating healthy since I know I dont want the added lbs while I cant get in my cardio. Getting restless and ready to do something!

Hi, I'm still recovering from total knee replacement from August! I was wondering if you have tried peddling in air? Lay on your back and peddle like on a bike. Another one is to swing your leg out to the side and then back, this strengthens the hip. You can also lift your leg up in the air and then slowly lower back down. There are quite a few exercises you can do lying down (bed is best as compared to the floor); most of them are for strengthening, but if you want exercises you can do off your feet, I hope these are helpful. I've had 3 joint replacements and know these by heart! I'm just starting to exercise in a l-o-o-o-n-g time (years). I have no excuse now that my knees aren't crippling me.
