OK, I know someone might have mentioned this already but Exercise TV shut down as of December 31st so no more OnDemand workouts for free!

Does anyone recommend any workout DVD's to buy (other than Jillian)? I have all of JM's and one with Jackie Warner. Cardio and circuit training are always my favorites!

I know this sucks!!!! I miss ExerciseTV :(

Netflix has a few (very few) workouts available via instant streaming..they are generally Crunch brand and I like them a lot. They have some boot camp and circuit workouts. Also "Self" magazine has some good workout DVDs.

I just bought a Tae-bo video, which is OK but I don't really like Billy Blanks' attitude in it. He seems like kind of a d***... I got a Bob Harper/Biggest Loser circuit training dvd, and a Leslie Sansone 4 mile walking one for light days. I like her fun attitude.

I also tried out Insanity, one of the Beach Body products, but I got hurt and had to quit it. It's VERY intense but is wicked cardio and circuit type workouts. You might like it if you're in good shape.

I would suggest your local library to try out exercise videos. Mine caries a bunch. I also try out a lot of videos from Blockbuster Online, they have a great selection.

But I miss Exercise TV too!

I was wondering if you do a exercise dvd for the day. How do you log it in you exercise profile? Today I justed added it in like I walked for 30mins. Any suggestion?

I can't sing praises enough to Kelly Coffey Meyer. You can get her videos at Collage video.com or totalfitnessdvds.com.

She does this awesome 30 minutes to fitness DVD series-each DVD is a different type of workout-from kickboxing to weight training to bootcamp. Each comes with 2 30 minute workouts plus tons of premixes so you don't get bored. She's awesome, and not alot of people know about her since she doesn't sell in stores like target....

I'm so glad you posted this. I was wondering the same thing. I could have cried when I went to use this and it was gone

Actually I think it depends what cable service you have. My ExerciseTV disappeared mid-December (still crying!) but was replaced by FitTV (I think that's the name) which is basically the same thing!

I have a FitTV channel but it hardly has any workouts and it's not on-demand...it's a lot of shows and then maybe 2 hours of Gilad and Bellydancing in the early mornings.

Sofaking6---oh wow, that's weird! Mine is an on demand channel, but I noticed that a lot of the workouts are 5 mins as oppose to Exercise TV's which were usually at least 30.

Still better than mine! I looked it up and in my area FitTV merged with Discovery health I guess.

I used the Exercise TV a lot. I purchased the Bootylicious DVDs, Incredible Abs (Cindi Whitmarsh) and already had Jackie Warner's. I also have a couple of the Yoga DVDs and two Kettlebell workouts that I really like (Amy Bento and Paul somebody). I have an Amy Dixon Kickboxing DVD and I have TaeBo. Billy Blanks can't count and he often misses a side, but it gives me a good workout.

All of the beach body videos (insanity, p90x, turbo) are great workouts. Some of the instructors are annoying (tony Horton) but that's what headphones are for. All are a few years old so you can find them cheap on eBay/Craigslist.
