How much do you have your carbs/cals set at?

Most wholegrain carbs should be fine, and not have that much fat.

Depending on how much fat we're talking about here, the loaf of bread on my desk says that one slice has 21g of carbs and 1.5g of fat. That's a pretty low fat to carb ratio.
  • Most vegetables are low in fat and calories so you can eat a larger portion (get full) and consume fewer calories . Also brown rice, lentils and beans are good carbs with fiber that are also low fat. Oatmeal with nuts/dried fruits is a good breakfast choice (be careful of "instant" as it may contain extra ingredients and is more highly processed). Salsa is a great snack (paired with the right chip) at 5 calories and 0 fat per Tablespoon (Pace brand). I find the spicy salsa helps curb my appetite quickly.
