I think the worst banner ad on MFP is that ad that has the old geezer with the shredded body...dude gives me nightmares...I think it is one of those clinics that inject you with "doctor supervised" levels of steroids to allow you to chase the fountain of youth or some *kitten*...

I'm amazed that MFP allows the HCG ad's since it wont allow discussion about it on the threads. Now I have Jimmy John's poppin up - what up with that! How about alcohol or chocolate... Guess there are needs to pay for this site.

There was a sparkpeople.com ad on here this morning - it claims to be America's best weight loss website. Then why the need to advertise on MFP?

Y'all know that MFP's ads are syndicated, right? They have no control over what shows up.

    AY-YI-YI! :noway:

I hate to complain about the ads too much though. Some may be annoying, but they are probably the reason MFP remains free to users. Just sayin'! :flowerforyou:

Guilty of technical ignorance.... Sorry, I figured like a newspaper, MFP might actually have control over it's advertisers. Apparently in this mad, mad world of the world wide web, websites don't have that type of control over content of ad's. That strikes me as a bit stupid...

I second your motion...definitely most ironically idiotic ad to show up on MFP....

Of course I also see a clearly factual story about a Mom who is 53 but looks 25! Must go to look into it...
