Does anyone know what you can and cannot eat on the first phase of the south beach diet? I know it is for 2 weeks. Thanks!

Never done South Beach so this could be wrong but just googled it and came up with this:

I could be wrong, but my understanding is that it's based on the glycemic index and you can follow it long term (forever).0

You can buy the book at walmart for maybe 8 bucks..and it has everything you need to know! I stayed on Phase 1 for almost 2 months and lost almost 20lbs0

You can basically eat lean meats, low/reduced fat cheeses, nuts and vegetables. Search online for the food lists. They are available and will give more details.
I have done this diet a few times and actually am on day 3 of phase 1. I like it and have gotten pretty good results with it.0
