Calories vs Sodium Content

Does any one know which is worse, higher calories and lower sodium or lower calories and more sodium?

The reason I ask is because I am looking online at the Subway menu and comparing nutironal info. Some of the sandwhichs and bread options show this and I'm not really sure which is worse. They all show 0 trans fat and varying Sat. fat. but I'm mainly curious as to which is worse, high calrories or high sodium content. Or does it matter more on the amount of exercise you perform? If you're more active you can afford to eat the extra calories because you will burn them off?

Unless you have specific problems that are aggravated by sodium, I would base your decision on how many calories you want to ingest at that particular meal :)

If you're trying to lose weight, then higher calories would be worse.

Wow, a sane view of sodium. That's a new one.
